Assumptions
Beyond Memorization
At TIS, our goal is the continual use of your company's learning tools. Our Accountability Performance System accomplishes this goal with the following assumptions:
-
Accountability - Accountability for results
greatly increases learning impact and retention. Both the learner and the trainer take an active role in the process and assume responsibility for the results.
-
Top Performers - Top performers take
control of their own success by independently taking
the initiative and by always being prepared. Our instructional design provides learners with the tools to manage their professional development and to be in control of their learning.
-
The Only Way - Our Accountability Performance
System provides an intense, structured curriculum
of learning. Our structured, easy-to-implement process focuses on critical skills for success and relates these skills to everyday work activities. Because learners can see the relevance of the concepts and activities, they are motivated to continue their progress.
-
Oral Certification - Our instructional
design requires the learner to "discuss, explain,
and demonstrate" the relevant knowledge. Why? Because passing a written, multiple choice exam is no guarantee that the acquired knowledge was internalized and can be used in real-world professional situations. Our Oral Certification compels learners to seriously prepare to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
It goes beyond memorization to personalization.
